Description
The Statement Shell – Silver – is handmade from one piece of solid Bronze using traditional metalworking techniques.  It is then professionally polished to give the piece a silky smooth lustre.  Finally the piece is plated to the highest quality in pure Silver.
During the final stages of forging the Titanium Choker No:3 the Shell selected is slipped onto the Choker allowing the forging to be completed, the Shell cannot now be removed, the two are now one.

- Diameter of loop for necklace: 5 mm
- Titanium Choker No:3 is designed to fit up to a 15 inch neck size, variations available upon request.
This is a handmade artisan product so naturally there will be some variations between each piece.
The Titanium Choker allows fitting and removal with ease.
Symbolism of the Statement Shell – Silver – on pure Titanium Choker
Scallop Shells have long been associated with pilgrimage and travelling, and are seen to be a strong symbol of protection. Â Shell necklaces are given to friends and loved ones embarking on long journeys or adventures. Â The Shell is said to protect them whilst on their travels and to ensure they return home safe from harm. Â Many cultures in coastal areas also use Shells to protect the home by placing strings of Shells over windows and doors.
