Description
Handmade Damascus Steel forged and firewelded on Bodmin Moor, using traditional metalworking techniques, Carbon Steel and Wrought Iron are wed, forge welded and folded many times creating the layers that become seamless and endless. Quenched in Dozmary Pool, where as legend has it the Lady of the Lake presented King Arthur with Excalibur, etched several times, then professionally polished to give the piece a silky smooth lustre.
Damascus Steel is notoriously hard to make, to create a pattern that works for the piece, yet worked it makes it possible to create the finest pieces of jewellery.
Forged in Cornwall, with a Bee’s wax finish which will need maintaining to keep it resistant to corrosion.
Available in any size, supplied in a branded gift box.
